1) That we (women - okay some men) still read
Cosmo Confessions and think they are real!
2) That we look at mascara ads and think..wow that
really works - when it's actually false eyelashes!
3) That we (women) think of fall as a change in
wardrobe and men think it's time for football.
But we both say FINALLY!!
4) That you & your work bestie can think something is
hilarious and when you tell someone else...crickets!
5) When anti-aging products or skincare products use 16 year
olds in their ads and commercials...really 16 and no wrinkles,
even skin tone and illuminating skin....REALLY who'da thunk it?!?

I didn't realize the mascara thing until much later in life (hmm why were the lashes always so perfect?) I unfortunately fall prey to the "so funny to us, crickets to others" stories as well!

Chic & Cheap - I go through this EVERY NIGHT when I get home..."Babe how was your day?" "OMG the funniest thing happened blah blah blah..." NADA!! ... when will I learn...sigh.

I think its funny (sad) that magazines constantly feature "dress for your curves" or "dress for all bodies", but their size range is from zero to 6. Let not even touch on how "plus size" models are now like size 8 to 12, but the average size for american women is 14.

Thanks for this...I can't believe this one didn't make the list...I think all the time...okay what if I am not a pear, an apple a whatever and maybe if you showed someone who was ACTUALLY these body types I might actually be able to relate. Also...don't get me started on those jeans for body types...stop doing the same article over and over!!!
