What do you forget?

We must be related!

Yesterday I am minutes from work - pull down my sun visor - look in the mirror and AGHHH ... I forgot to put mascara on!  This has happened to me quiet often recently.  Why do I forget?  I mean yesterday I remembered thinking okay next up mascara but then somehow I forgot?  What the heck?

There used to be this girl at work who would forget deodorant and she was constantly asking me if I had some.  I used to think ... how do you forget deodorant but HOW DO YOU FORGET MASCARA WHEN YOU'RE STARING IN THE MIRROR???

So come on ... tell me that me and stinky aren't alone ... what do you forget?

  1. I forget stuff all.the.time. Seriously, I'm doing good if I only forget two or three things a day and it is just getting worse. Glad I'm not alone!

    1. My husband thinks it's funny - I'll go to the kitchen come back and be like I forgot the thing I went to the kitchen for! I tell him all the time that it is because unlike men we are constantly thinking about 10 to 100 things at a time. So forgetfulness just comes with all that brilliance ;)

  2. Haha. I have been that girl who forgot deodorant before. Luckily I work in a big building that had a store that I could get some from. I now have it in my cube in case I ever forget it again. I have also forgotten mascara. I really should just leave some in my cube just in case. You aren't alone! I know that much!

    1. Yeah I think I need a backup mascara for my purse! It's happened too many times recently. I blame it on my "new organization" I am notiorous for just leaving my makeup all over the counter and my husband complains (mr. neat freak) so my resolution was to be neater so I am so focused on putting everything away ... I forget mascara! Poo! Good to know I am not alone!

  3. Too funny that you posted this! Last Friday i had to run to the bank and actually go in and talk to a teller. I put my visor down that has mirror and noticed that i had forgot to put on my mascara. Luckily i have a little tube in my purse so i put it on in parking lot before i went in. I havent done that in a while.
    I also skipped deodorant one day because my boyfriend was in bathroom as i was getting dressed and i thought i'll need to add deodorant once he gets out. Then once i was dressed, out the door i went and didnt realize until in car driving to work. I should leave some in my desk.....

12 Things You Need for Successful Weight Loss

1) Get your head in the game! Weight loss doesn't happen without dedication.  You have to have the mindset to get it done.  I've said in the past that motivation for me is like a light switch ... when it's on it is ON.  Even though motivation is one of the key things you need ~ you also need patience, understanding, time, and willpower.  You have to make a commitment to yourself and stick with it. 2) Track your progress! Tracking keeps you honest to yourself.  Without tracking you can sabotage yourself into overeating.  For example, tell me EVERYTHING you ate on Friday off the top of your head, not so easy right?  Also, there are tons of apps out there that you can quickly track or you can do it the old fashion way of writing it down.  Find what works for you and do it daily.  Also, as a rule I normally track my whole day in the morning.  Breakfast, Lunch, Snack & Dinner.  This also keeps me in track.  I can budget out my day and make changes if things arise or when y…

It's Okay Thursday/Hello Monday #5

... to be so productive that you "forget" to blog!

... to have tire issues on April Fool's Day and have to preface every text with ... this is NOT an April Fool's joke.

... to buy 11 items from the dollar days area at Target in an effort to get organized.  {hmmmm ... maybe a good idea for a blog post.}

... to forget to finish this post!

Hello Monday#5 It is truly amazing how much better my makeup and hair look on the weekend. So if you have never tried Starbucks Via Iced Coffee - I highly recommend. So I just watched Into the Woods over the weekend.  Why did the music sound EXACTLY like Sweeney Todd? Seriously I even googled that sh!t and came up with nothing. Why is it on weekends I am all about managing my down time  like it was my last meal or something.  Um no, I cannot do XYZ,  that is a total lack of consideration to my weekend of staying at  home and doing nothing for 48 hours straight.
How are you doing today?
