Mad about Writing! I like to think of myself as a semi-serious writer. The thought of writing articles and meeting deadlines for a magazine or newspaper just sounds heavenly to me. So with that said, during one of my library trips I picked up two books about writing. One book is about becoming a freelance writer and the second is about making money with your blog. I seriously want to keep these books to follow them to the tee and put my heart and soul into trying to make writing work. These books are currently due on March 26 and I don't want to give them up, maybe I need to make a trip to the bookstore. The freelance book stated that to get serious about becoming a freelance writer you need to get your work out there. It suggested having a blog. Okay check! However, it stated that you would need to do 2 to 6 good blog posts a day. WOW! I'm not that good...yet. Funny thing is the blog book also said to get more traffic on your blog you need to do 2 to 6 posts a day...

Mad about straws! This is one habit I am trying to kick. Okay we all know that smoking is bad for you because of well...CANCER but it also gives you wrinkles around your mouth. I have been thinking about it and a straw is the same thing because you're pursing your lips over and over the same as a cig! So I'm trying to give up straws but unfortunately it's like second nature to have a straw in your drink so I find myself using a straw and then realizing later DANG IT I did it again! NO MORE STRAWS FOR ME! I seriously feel like I am a baby trying to ween off of a sippy cup! No more sippy cup for me...this big girl can drink out of a cup. Yet now I am thinking...the whole point of a straw at a restaurant is so that your mouth doesn't have to touch the glass....Ahhhhh!

Mad about vacation! What is better than getting a phone call on a Monday from Paul saying let's go on vacation in April? Nothing! We are going to drive up to New Hampshire April 19 through 28! Ahhhh vacation...can't wait!!

Wedding Dress Madness So here are three new dresses I have found that I like. However, with regards to the last one...boo to the lace up back! BOO! Other than that I really like that dress. Do any of these beat out my previous top contender ...I'm not sure. (Side note: the model in the second dress...hello drag queen!)

Simply Mad about Marissa! I adore my little niece Marissa and today is her 4th birthday. The first picture was taken when she was just 2 weeks old, it feels like yesterday but she's growing up. I'm getting her a bike for her birthday! So Happy Birthday Monkey ~~~ Love Auntie Circle! Can't wait to give you a big hug Saturday when I see you at your birthday party!

How do you know when Aunt Flo is coming to town? Apparently you watch Hannah Montana The Movie and get choked up. Literally, I had tears at some parts! In my defense, I did fast forward all of the singing but I still watched it with enough enthusiasm to work up some tears.

Mad Hatter Madness! So Saturday I went to see Alice in Wonderland 2D with Jennifer and her 1/2 girl Kayla. I know I know...me in a slightly packed movie theater watching a movie...that itself is MADNESS! I had a great time with Kayla and Jennifer. We went EVERYWHERE! I asked Kayla what her favorite part of the movie was and she said....ALL OF IT! Personally, I was a little disappointed in Tim Burton. Sure the movie was a little dark but I thought they cheesed it up too much since Disney was signed on. Johnny Depp was brilliant as the Mad Hatter but again there was a feeling that he was holding back. I just wanted to see like Sleepy Hollow meets Alice in Wonderland. Is that too much to ask for? Guess so. My favorite line of the movie : "You have gone mad, completely bonkers. But I'll tell you a secret: All the best people are." Thanks Kayla for letting me join in the Saturday fun. Mad about this comic Bets sent me. In case you can't see...the Judge is throwing the gavel and stating..."Appeal that". I find this hilarious because this is what we deal with daily with the Bankruptcy Court, which is very lenient on debtors at the moment.

Mad about Mad Men ! Bets (loyal follower and bestest aunt) sent me this today. I love these Barbie's of the characters. Joan (the red head for you non-Mad Men watchers) is my fave! We all know that I am mad about black and white damask...hello it's everywhere on my blog. Okay so this is when I know I've gone too far.....the light switch...yes cute but come on damask toilet lid? RIDICULOUS!!!

I have to end this madness.... Today I feel heartbroken. I have two sisters who do not appreciate me. As you can see from my blog, I am someone who gives advice, looks out for others, etc. I have friends that thank me on a daily basis for my help, advice and motivation but yet these two sisters who I've done plenty for in the past and present never even acknowledge my existence. I receive no respect or gratitude from them and only hateful words. If these two were my friends, I would realize that they were just "takers" and not true friends and distance myself from them but how do you do that to sisters? All of us are at points in our lives where things could take us each in different directions, so at this point, when we are all close to each other, why aren't we close? These two also think being "close" means that I do everything for them and receive nothing in return again "takers". I'm tired of being the person to give and give and ...

Mad about Post-Its! Seriously I have like a million different colors, sizes and shapes in my desk drawer as we speak. There is just something about them that just makes work better.

I'm mad about this scent ....(ok and it makes me mad when people refer to lotions, etc. as flavors you don't taste it ... you smell it!!) Since I'm not a morning person I always shower at night. So this lovely scent makes me think of bedtime...zzzzzz.

Mad about the Funnies... I cut this comic strip out of the Sunday paper like a month ago to put on here. However, I was on that health kick and never felt like putting it on. So I thought it would be fitting for a post now since I think it is hilarious. So I dug it out of my stack of stuff and look Taller ... we ARE a Seinfeld episode...everything comes full circle. (Taller was just telling me about this comic the other day) Okay so I love this comic because it is SOOOOO me and Paul. I even showed it to him when I cut it out and he thought it was hilarious. I had no clue until scanning it for this blog entry that it was Pearls Before Swine.

Mad about....Castles! So Paul and I are watching countless videos of Europe, narrowing down where we want to spend our time in Europe. I think these castles in Germany are breath taking. It looks like we've started to narrow our trip to Germany and surrounding areas. I can't wait to see these in person! The view of the Alps from the first picture is remarkable! See...this is what the JEW fund will be spent on. =)

Mad about you....Paul! Two years ago today was our first date. Sometimes it seems like it was forever ago and hard to imagine that it has only been two years. Then there are days that I am still amazed that I found him and it seems surreal. Our first date was amazing. When we met I literally thought the universe was messing with me...hello he looks just like Vin Diesel and I was totally infatuated with Vin! I remember thinking...oh this isn't going to work...Shia lives happily ever after with a Vin lookalike? NO WAY! I had been on soooooo many crappy dates before Paul that I literally kept blowing him off. It was a Sunday night and I just got blonde highlights and well I wanted to go out. So I called him as a gesture of "well at least I tried" and he was like SURE! So later that night he picked me up and we went out to the beach. We talked for hours and had a great time.
