So I recently read an article on Marie Claire's website about whether or not women hate beautiful women.  Apparently, a woman wrote a tell-all piece about how everyone hates her because she is beautiful which sparked replies from readers that she's not beautiful and that people hate her because she is smug, narcissistic and overconfident.  Which then solidified this woman's point even more. The article written by Marie Claire about this tell-all piece went on to say that women have evolved past making rude and mean comments about beautiful women and that beauty is respected and embraced. Really?  What planet does that chick live on because here on earth ... women are judged by EVERYONE (including themselves) every nanosecond of the day.  For example, if we dubbed all of Hollywood as beautiful then why do we have best/worst dressed?  Why do we critique everything about them?  Why do we have paparazzi trying to score beach bod...

So back in October I told you all about a face wash I was using.  (Click HERE )   This is the "old" packaging...see how much you get 6.25 oz. Well this is the "new" packaging....   um 4.5 oz for the same price?? That's messed up! So I went to their website and under Contact Us... I left a little message about how I don't appreciate them trying to sell me something in a new bottle with less product and call it their "new look" and that the sad part is that  they will inevitably get away with it because most people will just be blinded by the new packaging and not notice that they are getting less. Have you ever called somewhere and gotten completely ticked off by the person answering the phone?  It JUST HAPPEN to me.  I am seriously debating at saying something at my appointment.  Shouldn't your receptionist be cheerful and helpful?  I mean don't you want the person answering the phone to give a good impression of your business?   Sigh!

So the UK has fought to ban overly airbrushed ads that give unrealistic images of perfect skin.  So what do you think?  I was actually thinking of giving Julia Roberts props to not letting them airbrush her freckle near her eye out entirely.  Should the US jump on this ban wagon?   I personally don't see it as unrealistic images to live up to.  I just see it as false advertisement.  Let's face it the products they are advertising are expensive and you knee jerk to think...man this really works but then the airbrushing makes you wonder...does it really?  Should I really spend all this money to find out that it doesn't? So couponing seems to be all the rage at the moment.  There is even a tv show on TLC called Extreme Couponing.   Since I keep hearing that there are tons of people saving money doing it I thought I would check it out.  Let me just say I am utterly appalled.  I cannot believe the people they put on this show.  It is down right disgusting.  I saw one episode where a woman bought over 50 bottles of mustard...why?  WHO NEEDS THAT MUCH MUSTARD?  Not only do they feel the need to stockpile products...they will shove it EVERYWHERE they can in their house.  I saw another episode where a woman had her entire shower filled with toliet paper.  REALLY?  Another episode where a woman literally busted out a wall in her house to store the coupons in her "crawl space".
