that I start thinking seriously about finding a wedding dress. I am thinking the same cut that I showed on here  before but adding lace and a little more detail.  Paul and I looked through the dresses (I know ...gasp!) I had saved earlier and we both agree they are quite plain.  So here is one that we both like so far. However I'm not 100% sold on those ruffles.  Also, I am thinking a light blue with a light gray lace...I have a picture from a magazine with a dress like that but it's like $10,000 so it won't be THAT exact dress but perhaps something similar.  I'll post it soon.  I think I am ALMOST to the point where I am going to start going to bridal shops. It's time to get this show on the road!

We are engaged!!!

Wedding Bee

So as you all can see from one of my last posts, Paul and I are shopping for my engagement ring. It's really not a big surprise I knew we would be getting engaged at Christmas this year but it's exciting that the moment is finally here. For two years I have been thinking about this moment where I would have to start making decisions as to the wedding, etc. and I guess I kept putting it off thinking...this is ridiculous I have PLENTY of time for all of that later. Well...it's a little daunting now that I'm approaching the engagement. There's SOOOO much to do and the craziest part is...I don't even want a big wedding. Seriously, I'm thinking like 10 guests with their plus ones and that's it and if that many. Yet, there is still this massive planning to do. Oye Vay! Let me also point out that because the word wedding is involved the prices for stuff go up and up. For example, my engagement ring, I just want a three stone two sapphires and the diamo...

Wedding Dress Madness So here are three new dresses I have found that I like. However, with regards to the last one...boo to the lace up back! BOO! Other than that I really like that dress. Do any of these beat out my previous top contender ...I'm not sure. (Side note: the model in the second dress...hello drag queen!)

Mad about....Castles! So Paul and I are watching countless videos of Europe, narrowing down where we want to spend our time in Europe. I think these castles in Germany are breath taking. It looks like we've started to narrow our trip to Germany and surrounding areas. I can't wait to see these in person! The view of the Alps from the first picture is remarkable! See...this is what the JEW fund will be spent on. =)

So I am planning my wedding which will take place in about two years. My ideal date is 9/10/11. The idea of me having a wedding is very new to me. I wasn't that little girl dreaming of the perfect day. I was that little girl thinking about going to law school and making money. I was seriously convinced that I was never going to get married. My sister Nicole even told me once that she never thought I would get married and that I would just be rich and travel the world. Gee thanks Nicole. However, when I met Paul that all changed. I know love at first sight seems very cliché but the moment I saw him I knew he was the one for me. I just hoped it wasn't the universe toying with my emotions and that he felt it to. I will NEVER forget our first date. Even more I will NEVER forget the first time he said that he loved me.
